Historical Conditions and Figure

Her origins aren't human.
As the person themselves say they are an 'animal' that has taken the form of a human by chance. In China, they are the so-called 'crane who had come to repay a favour', and in Japan they are depicted in folk tales such as 'Kaima' and 'Onna'.
The way these stories usually go is that a kind person saves the crane from a trap and the crane repays the favour by taking the form of a human being. The target of the repayment may be an old couple or a young man, depending on the local tradition. When the target is a young man she repays him by becoming his wife adding an element of inter-species marriage to the tale. The crane weaves fabrics from its own feathers, bringing great wealth to the object of its gratitude, but is forced to leave when it is seen in its true form.
In the Muromachi period picture scroll, Tsuru no Zoshi, the crane becomes the wife of the young man, but the way of repaying the favor is different, and there is no element of weaving in the tale. In this story the wife gives the young man a monster called "Wasawai" in order to get revenge for the unreasonable demands of those in power

It seems that there are a lot of visitors, not only because they sell spiritrion dresses, but also because they easily respond to all fashion-related concerns.
In terms of payment she is too lax (she doesn't even ask for the bills), so a kind Servant who couldn't stand that ended up becoming her backer
At the end of her studies she obtained the skill "The Crane's Hidden Measuring" the ability to take measurements in a split second of visual inspection. However when actually making clothes she always uses a tape measure to be cautious. If she wanted to she could easily determine someone's measurements from a picture and cut out the fabric without using pattern paper. However she doesn't like doing that as she thinks it "lacks sincerity"
As her stat values show, Miss. Crane's direct combat skills are low.
Her skills as a Caster are also nothing to write home about.

In the initial draft, she looked younger than she does now, but I wanted her to look more mature so I raised her head slightly in the clean-up phase. A large witch hat was essential for the second ascension and it was difficult to balance with the staff when creating the battle sprites. The third ascension is an orthodox Japanese-style beauty, with no adornment herself but with the haori as the main part of her design (Shaka-P)

Hey! So, I don't really show people my work due to being too embarrassed to. So, I want to post an excerpt of my latest work to know anything I can do better. This is it:
Emerald colors lit up the forest, bright in the early morning sun. There was a trickle of a distant river somewhere near the tree line that you could hear if you listened just closely enough. There was a nice summer breeze that blew through Marshall’s hair and hit his skin with a refreshing chill. He didn’t really know where he was going, all he knew was that he was walking in a direction and had to be at the stadium by 6:00, which was all he needed to know. He wasn’t really dressed for the occasion; in fact, he was still in his summer school uniform. Not ideal for a football game but he didn’t feel like going home. He was bound to be cold later that night, but he didn’t particularly care. Was he going to walk all the way to the school? He doesn’t know, I just told you he doesn’t know where he’s going.
His face is heating up, and it’s not just from the summer heat. Thinking about why he was going to the game was a little embarrassing. He doesn’t know anything about football and hates loud spaces, so there was only one real reason why he agreed to his friend's offer. Marshall couldn’t accept what was straight in his face. It’s like forcing a picky eater to eat broccoli; they’ll turn their head away and ignore it all dinner. He also didn’t like this about himself. This crush was an absolute leach, he couldn’t shake it away and it was sucking away at his life. So, right then, he stopped walking and made quite possibly the stupidest deal to himself ever. And he doesn’t back down from deals, especially self-deals. He likes to think of it as overachieving, but really, he just likes to prove whatever other part of himself wrong.
Before he can give anymore thought to his new, revolutionary solution, there was the rumbling sound of tires against pavement. Marshall stood to the side, turning to look at the road.
If you passed by Marshall regularly, you’d think he was a colored statue. No matter the situation, he looked proper, put together. He held his hands behind his back and his head up high. He dressed nicely no matter the event; his clean school uniform or a sweater vest and collared shirt. His chocolate hair laid perfectly atop his head. He always had the same expression on his face that, while stoic, was still warm and lots of curiosity.
A small, red truck pulled up beside him and the side walk he was standing on. A window rolled down to reveal a familiar face; a boy with raven black haired, pulled away from his coffee brown eyes using hair pins. He hung his arm out the window, trailing down the old truck door. He gave Marshall a questioning look with one eyebrow raised. Or maybe he was unimpressed. After all Marshall had come across better spots other times.
“What are you even doing here?”
He stared back with a blank look, head tilted slightly, hands fidgeting behind his back.
The other boy sighed, bringing his hand up and running it through his hair.
“Get in.”
He rolled up the window as Marshall went around the truck and got into the passenger seat, riding shotgun. Once he was buckled, they set off down the road before making a U-turn. Marshall wasn’t even close to going the right way.
The ride was silent for a while; the only sound being the loud air conditioner, blowing so hard his hair was being blown back. There was no music, they never played it when riding together. Marshall hated music too loud and the driver hated music too quiet. Usually, the car ride was filled with the latter's non-sensible chatter. But this time...
Marshall had his hands in his lap, looking straight ahead at the road. You could feel the tension in the air, like thick, dripping concrete, filling the truck to suffocate them both. There was a sigh, one of the only things Marshall has heard him say to him all day. He only moved his eyes to look over.
“Look you’ve really got to stop doing that.” He glanced over at Marshall with a bit of anger, but mostly concern. “I’m sure you have a reason for it, but it worries everyone every time.”
Marshall nodded, slowly peeling his eyes away from the other. His eyes fell back into his lap, where his hands continued to fidget. There was a moment of awkward silence. He could see his best friend thinking of something to say.
“I mean, I practically drove everywhere for you,” he continued. “Do you even have your phone on you?”
Whenever the raven hair looked over at him, all Marshall could offer was a shrug with empty hands to show. This sigh was more disappointed than the last ones. Marshall thought his old converse looked really interesting today.
His best friend seemed to calm down a little. It didn’t seem like he had much else to say as he stared out at the open road.
Marshall finally had the confidence to look up and over at his friend, still feeling guilty. He reached for his friend's phone and unlocked it, using the name Elio. He wasn’t the best at choosing passcodes, so his name worked well enough.
“Using my phone to let everyone know you’re alright?” The words had a small bite to them, but he figured it was deserved. He opened the notes app.
When he showed Elio, his face noticeable relaxed and he gave him a pitiful look. Marshall didn’t appreciate being someone that had to be looked at like that, but he wasn’t going to cause an argument, and he knew what he meant.
Elio pulled into a parking space. No one was in the stands yet; the game wouldn’t even start for a while. They always did this; it gave them a chance to get the seats they wanted.
“It’s okay,” Elio finally concluded with a small smile. “Just take your phone with you next time, at the least.”
He gives a small smile back, and his hands start to fidget less.
The truck had been stopped and daylight was already starting to dim. You could see a faint purple starting to take hold of the sky, convincing the light blue to retire for a few hours. If you looked hard enough, you could see tiny stars peeking through.
Elio quickly hopped out the car as Marshall followed in suit, stumbling out. The air had an obvious change and Elio showed it. They were back to the usual.

Here are the results of yesterday's matches. Bumblebee defeated Jailbirds, Faunus Pride defeated Fireball, Land of Lesbos defeated Bee's Schnees, and Remnant Orgy With Just Neo defeated Remnant Orgy Without Jaune. None of these matches were super close, with Faunus Pride vs. Fireball being the closest with a gap larger than the largest gap of Part 1 of the Round of 32. Turnout was slightly lower than the rest of the tournament for some reason, though. Still, Bumblebee managing to hold Jailbirds to just six votes is quite impressive. It's not like it was up against some random crack ship, either. It utterly dominated a ship that was, in the previous tournament, one of the top fifteen seeds. Opponents are logically only going to get tougher with each passing round, but the canonized bees are looking incredibly strong right now. Land of Lesbos and Remnant Orgy With Just Neo didn't hold their opponent to single digits like Bumblebee did, but they still didn't have much trouble with Bee's Schnees and Remnant Orgy Without Jaune. Congratulations to all the winning ships!

Match 1: Alcoholics Anonymous (Willow x Qrow) vs. Atlas Dropouts (Ilia x Winter)
We start with a battle of mother and daughter, as 3rd-seeded Alcoholics Anonymous takes on 35th-seeded Atlas Dropouts. Alcoholics Anonymous had no trouble getting its revenge on the ship that beat it in the previous tournament, Martial Arcs, in the first round. However, Fair Game, Jailbirds, and Fireball all failing to advance to the Sweet Sixteen, maybe the drunkle's semblance is starting to activate. Of course, those ships were all lower-seeded than their opponents, while Alcoholics Anonymous has a sizable seed advantage over Atlas Dropouts. What's for certain is that one Schnee woman is going to lose her only remaining representation today. Will Winter lose her chance at happiness with Ilia, or will Qrow end up being a bad luck charm for Willow?
Match 2: Rosebird (Summer x Raven) vs. Entire Team (Taiyang x Summer x Raven x Qrow)
Hey now, this match is all-STRQ. So let's get our game on, go play. 14th-seeded Rosebird will be taking on 46th-seeded Entire Team. Like the Nuts & Dolts vs. Frosen Steel matchup that started the round, this could be a "poly ship vs. one of its components match". However, somebody once told me that Entire Team is just the three Tai ships like the meme it references, so Rosebird wouldn't count as part of it. Of course, others would say that people who believe that ain't the sharpest tools in the shed, and that Entire Team functions like the other teamwide OT4s, with all the intra-STRQ ships (excluding possibly Raven x Qrow) being part of it. Well, we'll never know if we don't go. So, let's get the show on, get paid (note: I don't actually get paid for this).
Match 3: Renora (Nora x Ren) vs. Pollination (Ruby x Weiss x Blake x Yang)
Now, we have a historic rivalry match, as 6th-seeded Renora takes on 27th-seeded Pollination. These two ships have met up in tournaments three times before (I forgot about how they faced off in the 4if tournament that PetersNachbar ran) with Pollination holding a 2-1 lead. Most notable was their first matchup in Ship Wars 3, where Pollination did what was at the time considered impossible and gave a non-Big-Four ship a win against one of the Big Four (Though Freezerburn would follow that up shortly by beating Arkos and White Rose). Renora would get its revenge in 4if by scoring a win there, though Pollination would come right back and beat Renora again in Ship Wars 5. Now, they're facing off once again. Will Renora tie up this rivalry, or will Pollination extend its lead by making Renora the first of the Big Four to ever fall in the second round?
Match 4: Monochrome (Weiss x Blake) vs. Greek Fire (Yang x Pyrrha)
We close out the second round with a matchup between 11th-seeded Monochrome and 43rd-seeded Greek Fire. Before Bumblebee's utter dismantling of Jailbirds, Monochrome held its opponent to the fewest votes of any ship in the tournament, as only eight people voted for Silent Types against it (proving that there wasn't much of a "silent majority" there, amirite? OK, that one was terrible. I'm sorry. Not apologizing for all the All Star puns in Rosebird vs. Entire Team, though). Perhaps Monochrome being the highest-seeded Weiss ship wasn't a fluke after all. Its opponent, Greek Fire, scored an upset against Lancaster to make it this far. In this age of canon bees, which ship will suffer the most: the Blake ship without Yang, or the Yang ship without Blake? We'll just have to find out.

Unfortunately the 2 pvc drain pipes in the lower left prevent cracking it open more than an inch or so. The pipes seem to be glued in and can't be easily unscrewed from what I can see. The air handler panel extends underneath them - they go in through a hole that was cut away in it.

Hey there ReddX gang, it looks like I finally got a bit of time to write, so let’s not delay any longer and get into another story about Chris.
Who is Chris? Chris is a very fat and sweaty man surrounded by an impenetrable aura of poopycum stinkystank. He is a grotesque goblin content to dwell in his own personal dark triad of meth, anime, and lot lizards. Chris and I both used to work for a trucking company – a major one – and him and I would take turns driving our big rig down the road. Things were usually okay when Chris was driving, but when Chris’s shift would come to an end, or worse yet, when we would pull over for the night, Chris would find himself free to do Chris things. You know the things. Then, despite my best efforts to make him bathe and behave, it was all in vain, and we would descend just a little bit further into madness. Thankfully, I no longer have to ride with Chris.
Last installment we were introduced to Christina. Do you not know who Christina is? Well, maybe you should go and look up that last post, or better yet, go and listen to the narration of it as done by our good pal ReddX. Christina really was the feminine counterpart to the poopycum man. Well, after some sly maneuvering, I managed to escape the clutches of this wily bovine.
Now, I woke up the following morning to find both truck doors still locked and I thanked myself that my comfortable sanctuary had not been breached in the night by the poopycum people. I looked at my clock and realized that we were getting a bit late in the morning and that we needed to get on the road. Begrudgingly, I got out of bed, put on my shoes, and went out into the travel plaza to locate the gruesome twosome. I didn’t have to go far. I found Chris and his sister outside of the convenience store, wolfing down microwaved carbs, grease, and high fructose corn syrup like they a couple pigs in a trough. I came up, Chris dismissively remarking hey, and Christina replying with a sultry “good morning honker donkers” which I ignored. We all got back to the truck and I jumped in the passenger seat first that morning, taking us out of our parking space and further down the road. I’ll just go hang out with honker donkers.” At this, my ears perked up, I got up from my bunk, and plopped down in the passenger seat – a place only big enough for one person mind you – and Christina cast me a sour look. She knew I didn’t want to be anywhere near her, but that didn’t seem to stop her from still trying to put on the moves. With a dejected sigh, she waddled towards the back, and I screamed, “you better not lay down on my bunk,” and she said, “fuck you, I’m not going to lay in your bed.” Chris did his pre-drive checklist before casting a glance over to me, mumbling, “women, am I right or what, bro,” before putting his phone on the dongle and pressing play. As we drove, I did my best to ignore the people about me, grateful that I was safe with Chris driving the truck. I descended into my book as best I could while the poopycum man took us down the road. Christina, where did you get that sock?”
Things got real quiet real fast. Christina mumbled, “I got it off of honker donker’s laundry hamper. I can tell he must have been thinking about me when he used it.” I shuddered. I don’t beat off into socks in the back of the truck cab, and even if I had done it, I certainly hadn’t done it today. Begrudgingly, he got up from where he sat and got to the driver’s seat, starting the truck up again and taking us off the shoulder in a tense and awkward silence. Not even the cries of “nani? Baka!” serenaded us as we went down the road, the gravitas of such a situation apparent to even one poopycum man who was otherwise oblivious about everything. We rode for about an hour before we finally came off the interstate on the of Amarillo, and Chris drove us into a hospital. Christina got up from the back and sullenly walked towards the hospital entrance while Chris and I sat there in quiet.
We exchanged a look between each other, a silent, “so what do we do now,” before Chris mumbled, “I guess I’ll call in to dispatch and let them know what’s going on.” I replied that that would be the best, and so Chris picked up the radio receiver and Chris told dispatch, verbatim, “hey, uh, dispatch, this is Chris, and we’ve had to stop at a hospital. The short summary is that the hospital gave her something called prep, which is basically a medicine to guard against HIV infection, and a morning after pill for her to take on her own time. When Chris heard the mention of the morning after pill, he started up, “so you’re just gonna kill our baby like that?” Christina loudly voiced what everyone was thinking. “What the fuck is wrong with you, Chris? Ugh, god forbid if anything even took root, of course I’m going to kill it.”
This precipitated a long argument as Chris pulled us out of the lot, shouting over his shoulder that his sister was a disgusting infanticidal sow and that it was morally repugnant for her to terminate the life of a small child, even, yes, if it was forged in the poopycum passion of a serial molester’s mistake. I let this get more and more heated, of course. I wanted it to end, don’t get me wrong, but at this point, I was banking on them becoming so antagonistic to each other that either Chris or Christina quiet and I could continue the night in relative peace. The good lord must have been listening to my prayer that evening, because eventually Christina shouted, “screw you! I’m calling daddy!” and she whipped out her phone to call her father.
She ranted into the mouthpiece that Chris was a disgusting subhuman troglodyte (accurate) and that he was also a gross pervert (also a fact) and that she didn’t think she could hack the trucking lifestyle if she had to copilot with Chris. Her father, doting on daddy’s girl, I can only assume, responded something, and she continued, “fine, I’ll be there in an hour.” She turned to Chris in a huff and told him to take her to the airport. My reprieve had come. Chris didn’t do that, though. He pulled over the truck, told her to go screw herself with a used splooge sock, and that she could walk home. Christina did get out of the truck, presumably to call a cab.
I never did encounter Christina again, but according to Chris’s reckoning, their dad placed her in another truck to learn under someone else, and my heart went out for that poor soul who inevitably was sexually assaulted by her discolored nipnops and yeasty odor. Thankfully, no poopycum child was ever forged by Christina’s spoiled eggs and Chris’s stagnant seed, either, because that, my friends, would have truly been an abomination against all that is holy. I would not be surprised.

My partner and I are fortunate enough to be in the situation where we have the option to either remodel our existing home, or build a new one. Due to our current home's layout that doesn't fit our particular needs, we figure we'd rather build something modest but comfortable enough to suit our preferences.
We're looking to build a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house, probably somewhere around 1200sq ft. We already have the lot, and the utilities are already in place (prior house burned down). We're looking to keep building costs between $125k and $150k. We're not trying to do anything extravagant, but we definitely would like some nicer finishes (i.e. solid countertops, high efficiency HVAC).
Would anyone happen to have any suggestions for local new home construction companies, or trustworthy contractors that would be up to the task? We're considering acting as the GC ourselves and subbing the work out as I have experience in overseeing construction and remodel projects due to my line of work, but I feel it might just be best to let a professional oversee things from start to finish. We're also interested in working with someone who does house design/blue prints to go over our ideas and flesh them out into something possible.
