Edc outfit

I'm planning a backpacking trip to Europe next summer (2024) and want to get a head start on what to bring! I'll be primarily staying in hostels in Scotland, Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria. I'll be there in May, June, and July.

• I'm planning on bringing a week's worth of clothes/outfits and just doing laundry - are dryers common in hostels? In laundromats?
• Should I bring 1 pair of sneakers + 1 pair of ankle boots that I can't walk long distances in? Or just the sneakers? (plus a pair of slides for the shower, of course)
• Are jeans going to be too hot? Or will I need them for Scotland?
• Any crossbody bag recommendations that can hold an umbrella + water bottle? I'm thinking of getting a leather messenger bag, but the good ones are all like $350 CAD :')
• I know cash is king in Germany, but what about the other countries I listed above? How much cash do you think I should have on me when I go out? I'm thinking 2 days' worth of cash + 1 credit card + 1 debit card in an easily accessible wallet in the crossbody bag, with the rest of the cash I have + my emergency credit card in an under-the-clothes money belt
• Will the Osprey Porter 46 be large enough? I'm a fairly light packer, not planning on bringing my laptop or any large electronics. All it really needs to fit are my clothes and toiletries
• Any EDC advice? I'm planning on carrying an umbrella, water bottle, first aid kit (band-aids, alcohol swabs, medical tape, Tylenol, ginger chews), phone, wallet, and small travel journal wherever I go

While my friend went to EDC, I worked (Driving), But I'd get off when she left the venue. So I saw a couple posts in here of people showing off their outfits! RSD Critter Scale AUS10A AD20.5 w/ Extra Blade $250 - First up is my AD20.5 that I outfitted with a set of RSD Critter scales and RSD geared backspacer. Running on skiffs with a great action but is uncentered. Has been carried a bit but does not show too much wear. Sharpened it after a few drinks and ended up taking a bit off either thumbstuds so thats why the extra blade is included.

OG Alu Scaled S35VN AD20.5 $210 - Originally a natural/jade g10 drop point AD20.5 that I threw some of the new non-phat OG scales on. Has seen very little carry time. Action is great on this one as well and it is centered. If you want the lefty clip I will keep it on but otherwise Ill throw in a standard demko right handed clip. Will come with original scales.

SOLD XHP Demko AD20S Sharksfoot $330 - Got this from the original buyer about a month ago. Hasnt seen much carry time at all. The original owner put a very strange bevel on the knife so I corrected it but its still a bit uneven towards the top. For whatever reason this knife is not centered, although I havent tried to center it myself. It is running on a set of skiff thick washers and has a very glassy action. I will include the original bearings if you'd like. This knife can also come with the lefty clip but if you prefer I will include a standard demko righty clip.

SOLD B'yond EDC Chunk $140 - I am the original owner of this knife. Was originally planning on returning it but never got around to it, so Im posting it here. Has seen almost no carry time so I'd consider it about LNIB. Great fall shut action and quite slicey for a knife of this size.

This will be my first EDCO, and when I think November, I typically assume chilly. What are the temps like for edc Orlando? Will be basing my outfit off of temperature so I need to know! 🤣

Tysm to the group of 3(?) girls sitting in front of my bf and I on the shuttle to EDC from Rio day 3. They gave us stickers and a little rubber frog. I held onto that frog with my life throughout the last day while I rolled and it made me so happy. We have the stickers on our phones Ty to the little family of ravers we met at Downtown day 3. Brother and mom were blissed out and chill and the daughtesis was caring for them. We traded Kandi and shared starburst with them. Ty to the rave mom I met at GA+ bathrooms day 1. She was so sweet and kind, and gave me my first stranger Kandi of edc 2023. Ty to the bro Noah my bf and I met at Cosmic right before Said the Sky. The gum saved us and convo was super chill. Ty to anyone who said hi or complimented outfits or even just kept up with PLUR and did the pleases and excuse me and sorrys.
Little interactions like this always weigh out the negatives of edc. I look forward to more special moments like these next year 💕 see you all under the electric sky, till next time🌈🎆

After a few years of cold and windy weather, this years weather was great! I thought May edc will forever be cold. Getting merch inside edc was a breeze, it’s usually a 1-2 hour wait due to everyone buying shirts to keep warm. Everyone got to show off their outfits and not hide them with blankets and hoodies. And it’s so much more comfortable to dance and move about edc with its warm and hardly any wind. It was giving June edc vibes that we love with out it being too miserably hot

First to get it out of way, personally been to 10+ EDCLV and EDCO combined, but unfortunately could not attend this year due to medical issue. I have always loved the event, and attending in person is the way. The quality of the the livestream is pitiful. In this day and age, it looks like shot with 20 year old cameras, the sound quality is poor, there is only coverage of 3 stages, and the camera frequently neglects the crowd who’s vibe and outfits are key. I just don’t get it. People will want to attend EDC in future based on live streams, not stay home to watch instead. It is a great marketing tool. An official stream wandering through the crowd and interviewing headliners would be super popular as well.
Why can’t we get most stages streamed and quality? It costs nothing to do.

Overall, I had a great time for my first EDC! Here are some things I really liked, and some things I didn't.
Pros: 1. The stages and displays were incredible! Seeing all the lights and pyrotechnics and fireworks were absolutely amazing. It was an incredible view everywhere you went. 2. So many good sets and great sound everywhere! I felt like there was someone I looked forward to seeing each night and they didn't disappoint. I also enjoyed stumbling into different stages and enjoyed artists I didn't expect. 3. The creativity!!I love seeing all the different people with their outfits and totems. Some of the totems really made me laugh and I love the cleverness of some people. You could tell some folks really put effort into their whole look. And I love seeing all the different body types and people wearing what they wanted. 4. Uber. I don't know if my husband and I just left at the perfect times, but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and not that expensive our rides were. We took Uber there and back and never had an issue. Rides took less than 5 min to get picked up, ~45min to arrive and same to get back to the strip.. I think we paid around $50 each way.
Cons: 1. The crowd. As other people have mentioned, in some spots of the crowd I definitely didn't feel the PLUR. I honestly think they let too many people attend. We were at Kinetic Field for Tiesto and I guess we didn't realize how far we had inched toward the stage. By the time we tried to exit, it was a scary sea of people. Everyone was shoving and trains of people kept cutting through in every direction. I just kept thinking that if there was an emergency how many people would get trampled. It took ~30 min to finally get to an area where I didn't feel trapped . 2. The layout. I feel they could have made the layout better. It seemed like there weren't enough water stations or restrooms easily accessible. There were also spots that I thought needed more entry/exit points. It definitely bottlenecked in places and with the amount of people in attendance you could really get screwed trying to leave an area. 3. The staff. Security was super lacking. I wish they would have had metal detectors or something. We were fortunate not to have anything stolen, but from reading this subreddit I see that lots of folks did. I also wish they would have had more staff around to direct traffic. Just a couple people with flashlights guiding the crowd to walk in a specific direction could have greatly helped in many areas.
Overall I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the experience. But will probably stick to smaller events after this.

We met in line at the karaoke bar in downtown edc around 11 Saturday. (I was solo in the Santa outfit). I hung out with y’all for a little bit before I performed tequila and had to split for a set. I’d love to re-connect with y’all. I was honestly having a rough time and y’all turned it completely around.
