I have been a Geronimo Stilton fan since I was young and I still collect the books. When I heard that there was a Geronimo Stilton tv show I bought the DVDs and when I found a Geronimo Stilton plush I also bought that. When I heard that there are talks of a Geronimo Stilton I was so happy and I can wait for it just like the Anya's Ghost movie. I don’t know what the plot is going to be but I have my own idea, it should mix It's Halloween, You 'Fraidy Mouse! and The Secret of Cacklefur Castle to act as an origin story to ship Geronimo and Creepella. I’m honestly shocked there is little to no fanfiction or fan art of Geronimo and Creepella; they are kinda perfect for each other, opposites attract. And don’t be like “WhAt AbOuT PeTuNiA PrEtTy PaWs?!” That is never gonna happen and you know it, plus Geronimo even says that he found her attractive in it's Halloween, You 'Fraidy Mouse! If I could create a Geronimo Stilton film, my cast would be.

I often see people accusing Cassie of weaponizing her white woman tears against the POC characters in the show (Rue, Maddy, McKay), but no one talks about how:
-Maddy weaponized her WOC tears against Cassie after she found out about Cassie and Nate, and was really hostile and almost violent towards Cassie
-Lexi weaponized her unattractive, undesirable woman tears against Cassie in the play
-McKay weaponized his black male tears against Cassie twice. Once after he was SA’d, when he literally responded by SA’ing Cassie, which makes him lowkey worse than Nate. Then when Cassie announced her pregnancy and he was all like “My coach is gonna kill me, my parents are gonna kill me, I’m in the middle of school”
Also, can we talk about how “white woman tears” is a misogynistic term? It’s used to silence and vilify every white woman who speaks about the abuse she encounters from a POC male (or even a white male sometimes, like in the case of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp). If the woman who speaks out was a WOC, she still wouldn’t be believed most of the time, but if the woman is white, it allows people to disguise their misogyny as “racial justice”. If “white woman tears” was not a misogynistic term, it would just be “white tears”. MOC are men first, POC second — their privilege far outweighs their oppression, which is why they can oppress white women and get away with it (like McKay).

As a guy in his fifties I have seen a lot and I mean a lot of films about dudes coming of age. And while a few women coming of age films have crossed my path none have been as good as Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. Most movies studios are run by men and even when a woman manages to get the top spot she does nothing to shake up the kinds of fare put out there. So congrats to Lionsgate for bankrolling the adaptation of this book.

What makes the picture stand out is it's dealing with preteen girls and their sexual confusion, not just about boys but about their own bodies. I can think of few films to actually deal with getting your period. The pics that even address it usually bring it up as a source of gross out humor. I'm also hard pressed to think of the last film I saw where a young woman had to deal with getting a bra for the first time. This is stuff every young woman must go through but it's seldom seen in cinema. Or at the very least, in most flicks I've seen. And I see a lot of them.

The whole issue of her religion and what she should believe in is also handled excellently. This is a dynamite script but it would be nowhere without the performers. Everyone puts in a fantastic performance, most especially the lead, Abby Ryder Fortson.

The direction is also crisp and to the point. If I have any issues at all it's that I think the character of the father is under used but I guess this is really Margaret and her mom's story. Which, you know, fair enough.

I hope everyone with a preteen daughter see's this. In a sane country it would be shown in schools but the book it's self is banned in some districts so that's not going to happen. Which really is to our nations shame.

I like how he always talks about his kids. He never exposed them to the media and they live a quite secluded life (as secluded as possible for 2 mega stars). The never work at the same time so that one can always be with the kids. I also love Chris Hemsoworth and for years i was (i know this is a controversial view) obssesed with johnny depp's interviews where he talked about lily rose.

The soundtrack for Tim Burton's film of Stephen Sondheim's musical thriller Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is reasonably close in content and spirit to the original musical, which was released in 1979 on RCA. Starring Johnny Depp as the vengeful Sweeney and Helena Bonham Carter as pie-maker Mrs. Lovett, this adaptation could boast no finer leads, for they inhabit their roles with remarkable sympathy and pathos, and their singing is subtly expressive, rhythmically accurate, and usually on pitch, too. However, in comparison with the original stars, Depp's snide growls are less convincingly gut-wrenching than Len Cariou's howls, and Bonham Carter's portrayal is somewhat gentler and milder than Angela Lansbury's sharp characterization. The rest of the cast presents some entertaining highpoints, notably those by Sacha Baron Cohen as the bombastic Pirelli, and the versatile Alan Rickman as the odious Judge Turpin. But highest honors go to treble Edward Sanders as Tobias, who delivers "Pirelli's Miracle Elixir" and "Not While I'm Around" with scene-stealing aplomb and sings with superb technique and a beautiful tone. Fans of the show will miss the chorus "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd," as well as the Judge's obsessive "Johanna," and Beadle Bamford's "Parlor Songs," but the rest of the songs are accounted for, and the orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick are faithfully conducted by Paul Gemignani, who leads a skilled studio orchestra. Nonesuch's sound is rich and atmospheric, though a little subdued in some tracks, requiring a few careful volume adjustments.

Bold wrestlers are still active in the 2023 WAF roster. As soon as the 2015 roster was fictionalized to the WAF they took a life of their own. It is very interesting to see these artifacts in new sets.

To all the young teachers here, even though so many of you are great, it takes years to really master classroom management. This isn't a diss, it is just something many young teachers struggle with which our teacher prep programs do not teach, and it adds a lot of stress to an already stressful profession.
I'm interested in hearing any other people could add to the list.
These are some tips I have found helpful:
1.) First day of school is syllabus review and going over the rules
Have them sign a student contract going over the rules and make sure you SAVE THEM, a parent will come for you when you enforce consequences, and it is a meeting-ender to pull out a document their student signed stating that they adhere to the clearly defined rules.
2.) Be an asshole for the first couple months
Nobody likes to be the bad guy, but being an asshole for the first few months helps kids learn what the rules are and that there are consequences for breaking them. Give an AP kid a detention if they are a minute late without a pass. The knuckleheads will see that you're fair and consistent in consequences. Johnny doesn't care that Sally is watching YouTube videos because she finished all her work, he only sees that Sally is allowed to do something he isn't allowed to.
3.) Establish routines and be consistent
This varies from teacher to teacher. I start every class with a warm-up activity that I start the second the bell rings, but I'm less serious the last 2-3 minutes of class. Some teachers have opposite procedures. In any case, students crave structure and routines.
4.) Potentially unpopular, but I find it's better to dress more formally for the first couple months of the year, especially if you're young
High school level here, but I think it's better to establish a boundary with the kids early in your career, especially if you're younger looking. Mr. X is wearing a shirt and tie and is therefore a teacher in my mind instead of being a dude that looks like my buddy. You can always take your foot off the pedal towards the end of the year when you've built relationships and can somewhat reason with them, "you know I'm not unreasonable, I can't have you doing X in class".
5.) Always have more than enough work
We all know the type of kid that finishes their work in a rushed manner, then gets bored and causes issues. Call it enrichment, web quests, extra credit, or whatever, but always have something for the high-flyers to keep them busy.
6.) Be lucky enough to be hired in a school with supportive admin that enforces consequences
This has been the case my entire career, but I know many people have stories of kids being sent to the office only to return with candy and a smile on their face. None of the classroom management tips work if the building culture is not there. If you're an admin reading this that eschews consequences and puts the blame on teachers for too many referrals, you can fuck right off. You are the problem.
7.) Your reputation gets established in the first three months and it goes a long way
Kids talk. If you're known as no-nonsense, then your life is going to be easy in future years. Set the tone hard. Kids taking your classes will behave differently than they would with teachers they hear are more relaxed. "She's nice but don't screw around in her class" is one of the best compliments you can get. Parents will hear if you fold for Karens, if you're reasonable, if you enforce consequences. I've had a couple nightmare kids have nightmare parents request their kid change classes because I expect them to show up on time. Fine.

At Raw after Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins issued an open challenge for his title. Finn Balor, Matt Riddle, Johnny Gargano, and Shinsuke Nakamura all stepped up to challenge him. Adam Pearce decided to make a fatal 4-way match to determine the number one contender.
In the main event, Nakamura hit the Kinshasa on Matt Riddle but was taken out by Balor's slingblade and shotgun dropkick. Gargano then capitalized on the opportunity, hit one final beat, and pinned Balor to win the shot at Rollins for Money in the Bank.
At Money in the Bank, Rollins and Gargano had a 20-minute classic match. Gargano kicked out of Rollins' five-star frog splash, while Rollins survived Gargano's superkick and multiple other moves. In the climax, Rollins caught Gargano mid-air with a kick, hit a pedigree, and followed it up with an immediate stomp for the win. Both men showed respect by shaking hands after the match.
On the following Raw, Rollins was attacked by Judgement Day during a promo. Finn Balor, challenged Rollins for the title. Rollins later accepted the challenge, and the match was set for SummerSlam.
At SummerSlam, Rollins and Balor unleashed their fury with intense moves like a shotgun dropkick to the barricade by Balor and a running powerbomb to barricade by Rollins. Balor even kicked out after a pedigree through a table. In the end, JD tried to interfere but were intercepted by Riddle, Gargano and Nakamura. They started brawling when Balor leaped onto all of them! As Balor slided back into the ring, Rollins hit the stomp on Balor to secure the victory.
On the next Raw, Balor challenged Rollins to a rematch since their previous encounter didn't end cleanly. Rollins agreed but wanted JD banned from ringside to ensure a fair match. Balor accepted the condition but proposed a Last Man Standing match to guarantee a definite winner.
Their Last Man Standing match took place at the next pay-per-view event. The grueling match concluded with Rollins delivering a splash through a table on Balor from the top of the titantron. While Rollins barely managed to get to his feet, Balor couldn't make the count, and Rollins retained the title.
At Crown Jewel, Rollins was challenged by a heel Drew McIntyre. The match saw both men kicking out of each other's devastating moves, including Rollins surviving a future shock DDT and McIntyre enduring a frog splash and even a stomp. In the end, Rollins countered McIntyre's Claymore with a superkick in midair and hit the stomp for the win.
On the following Raw, Edge, the Money in the Bank winner, confronted Rollins, announcing his intentions for a title match at Survivor Series in his hometown of Toronto, and also stating he'd retire if he lost.
After Rollins made his entrance, Edge's music played but he instead attacked Rollins from behind with his briefcase and delivered a con-chair-to. Rollins, determined to start the match, was hit with a spear by Edge, who emerged victorious.
During a promo on Raw after Survivor Series, Edge expressed his hatred for Rollins and said he'd rather cheat to win against Rollins rather than losing to him in his hometown in a retirement match. Edge mentioned that he would retire once he lost the title but intended to go out swinging. Rollins later challenged Edge to a TLC match for the title at TLC, and the match was set.
The TLC match between Edge and Rollins featured high-risk moves like Edgecution from the top of the ladder through a table and a splash from Rollins through an announce table. Ultimately, Rollins powerbombed Edge through a table leaning on the barricade. Rollins started climbing the ladder, but Edge resorted to a low blow and ultimately retrieved the title after hitting a co-chair-to.
The next night, Edge declared that he would host open challenges to face young talent before retiring. He faced various challengers leading up to Survivor Series, including Gargano, Ciampa, Bron Breakker, and Riddle.
For the Royal Rumble, a number one contender triple threat match was held between Rollins, Balor, and Nakamura. Nakamura emerged victorious, securing the opportunity to face Edge for the title.
At the Royal Rumble, Edge and Nakamura put on a thrilling match, with Edge kicking out of Nakamura's Kinshasa and Nakamura surviving Edge's Spear. Edge accidentally hit the referee with a spear, but then resorted to a low blow to gain an advantage. He hit a final spear, and the referee counted the pinfall, granting Edge the victory.
On Raw following the Royal Rumble, Edge explained his actions, stating that he cheated to ensure he would enter WrestleMania as the champion. He mentioned that once he lost the title, he would retire, but wanted his final match to take place at the grandest stage of them all. Edge then waited to see if there was anyone worthy enough to challenge him for the title at WrestleMania.
Before Edge left the ring, he was interrupted by the returning John Cena. Cena expressed his desire to achieve his 17th championship, stating time is ending for him as well, and challenged Edge, considering him one of his greatest rivals. However, Edge accused Cena of prioritizing Hollywood and not giving his all in wrestling anymore. Cena agreed and entered the #1 contender's Chamber match to earn the opportunity and even volunteered to start at #1 to prove he still got it, eventually winning it by pinning Brock Lesnar.
The stage was set for WrestleMania, where Edge would defend the title against Cena in a highly emotional match. Both men kicked out of each other's finishers and executed devastating moves like Edgecution through an announce table and an AA through another. Edge survived Cena's Super AA from the middle rope but eventually succumbed to another AA from the top rope for the three-count, making Cena the new champion. After the match, Cena celebrated, and both men shared a heartfelt hug before Cena left the ring, allowing Edge to bid farewell to the WWE Universe.

Lionsgate Films! As a guy in his fifties I have seen a lot and I mean a lot of films about dudes coming of age. And while a few women coming of age films have crossed my path none have been as good as Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. Most movies studios are run by men and even when a woman manages to get the top spot she does nothing to shake up the kinds of fare put out there. So congrats to Lionsgate for bankrolling the adaptation of this book.

What makes the picture stand out is it's dealing with preteen girls and their sexual confusion, not just about boys but about their own bodies. I can think of few films to actually deal with getting your period. The pics that even address it usually bring it up as a source of gross out humor. I'm also hard pressed to think of the last film I saw where a young woman had to deal with getting a bra for the first time. This is stuff every young woman must go through but it's seldom seen in cinema. Or at the very least, in most flicks I've seen. And I see a lot of them.

The whole issue of her religion and what she should believe in is also handled excellently. This is a dynamite script but it would be nowhere without the performers. Everyone puts in a fantastic performance, most especially the lead, Abby Ryder Fortson.

The direction is also crisp and to the point. If I have any issues at all it's that I think the character of the father is under used but I guess this is really Margaret and her mom's story. Which, you know, fair enough.

I hope everyone with a preteen daughter see's this. In a sane country it would be shown in schools but the book it's self is banned in some districts so that's not going to happen. Which really is to our nations shame.

Chipp was addicted to drugs at a very young age. In order to secure a regular supply of them, he became a dealer for the Mafia. Yet after years of punishing his body with all manner of narcotics, he finally broke down and was to be "disposed" of by the organization. However, his life was saved by a mysterious Ninja. Realizing his huge debt to this master, Chipp became a student at the Ninja's dojo and was trained, body and soul, in the ways of the Shinobi.
And yet one day, Chipp returned to find his master dead, having been attacked by the Mafia. Chipp managed to track the killer to the Assassin's Guild, but after a fight with Venom, he realized that revenge would get him nowhere. In giving up his drug addictions for revenge, he had simply traded the vice of narcotics for the vice of violence. In order to better follow his master's teachings, Chipp realized that he would need more power to affect real, positive change in this world, and so he decided to become the President.
After running around trying to collect votes for quite some time (including a stint as a bodyguard for the Zeppian President Gabriel), Chipp ended up in South Africa, in an area that had been devastated by the Crusades and had gotten little support since. Chipp managed to restore some level of order and reformed it into the Eastern Chipp Kingdom, with himself as the President. With a population in the tens of thousands, Chipp got his own staff, led by Answer. From there, Chipp lent his efforts to the Illyrian Kingdom and the United States, all in an effort to get the various countries of the world to recognize the Eastern Chipp Kingdom as a country and legitimize his position.

• Zansei Rouga - Chipp knocks his opponent skyward, then darts backwards and forward, continuing to strike them until he brings them back down.
• Banki Messai - Chipp attacks with a combination of his strikes, his clones' strikes, and a finishing hit from Dodomezaki the otter. In previous games, this move relies more on Chipp's intense speed to bumrush his foe.
• Ryuu Yanagi - Chipp throws... just a whole shit ton of kunai.

Instant Kills

• Raisetsudan - Chipp makes some clones, swarming his foe with a barrage of shuriken before finishing them off with a summoned lightning bolt.
• Delta End - Chipp surrounds his foe in a star of fireballs, burning them alive.
• Zenten Zenchi Musou Kijin - Chipp dashes past his foe, finishing them off with a brutal slashing strike.

My (20F) best friend, "Brady" (20M) and I have known each other since we were about 5 years old. Our families have been close since his family were regulars at my family's restaurant. Brady has a younger brother named "Johnny", about a year younger, who I also had a close relationship with. In middle school, Johnny confessed his feelings for me, and I reciprocated. However, Brady strongly objected to us dating because he felt uncomfortable with his best friend dating his brother. We were upset, but Johnny and I respected Brady's wishes and didn't pursue a relationship. Brady went further and didn't even want me hanging out with Johnny. Reluctantly, I distanced myself from Johnny.
I began dating my boyfriend, "Liam," who happened to be my neighbour, when I was 15 and he was 14. He has been amazing and I love him. I ended up taking Liam to my prom two years ago. Nearly a year later, when Liam and I were hanging out, Johnny showed up at my door with a flower, asking me to be his prom date. I said no, explaining that I had a boyfriend, which I thought he knew. He seemed embarrassed and left when Liam came to the door. Liam's prom was so fun. I was with Liam, my girl bestie and her date, my brother and his date, and Liam's best friend and his date. I noticed Johnny staring at me from a distance, which made me uncomfortable, so I asked my brother to switch seats with me.
The next day, Brady invited me over to talk. He told me that after the prom afterparty, Johnny came home drunk and had a tantrum. He shouted at Brady, blaming him for ruining his life and pushing away the love of his life. I told him I had no idea he still had a crush on me. Brady thinks that Johnny's crush might have resurfaced after seeing prom pictures and me giving a valedictorian speech (I was not top of my class, I was voted). Brady blamed me for Johnny's tantrum, and said that I should've gone to prom with Johnny since he was now okay with us dating. I expressed that it would've been unfair to my boyfriend and I. This led to a heated argument, during which Brady said he didn't know why I was with Liam because he is short, annoying, and autistic. I told Brady that if he couldn't respect my boyfriend, I didn't want him in my life.
A week later, I attended the high school graduation to support my brother, my girl bestie, and Liam. Afterward, Liam told me that Johnny seemed nervous around him, since they were put near each other because of their last names. He said it was amusing since Johnny is six inches taller and more muscular than him. Johnny came over to apologized to both of us for asking me to prom, admitting he knew we were dating and that he was being impulsive. Liam forgave Johnny, so I did as well.
Now, in the present, I had noticed that I wasn't invited to my friend's birthday party, which is unusual. When I asked why, he told me I was a traitor to the friend group due to how I treated Brady. The party is today. I believed I was in the right, but my guy friends have turned against me.
EDIT: To clarify, "Liam" is actually autistic, so it especially hurt me that "Brady" would consider this a negative a reason for me not to date him.
EDIT: I mentioned this in the comments: "Liam" and I are engaged, but it's a prolonged engagements because I want to completely finish university before I marry him. My parents also won't allow me to call him my fiancé until I finish my bachelor at least because we are too young, which is fair.
UPDATE: Today was my boyfriend's college graduation and he has been stressing over that while I had been having a hard time feeling happy for my boyfriend, while everyone's calling me a terrible friend. My parents invited us over for a drink as a celebration (we live in Canada, so my boyfriend can legally drink). I had recently moved out to live with my boyfriend. Johnny and Brady's dad went to my parents' house to have a drink with my dad, since they are buddies. He told me that, while Brady is going to that birthday party, he's not on speaking terms with Johnny. Anyways the four of us are clinking drinks in celebration for my boyfriend's achievements. Just goes to show that your day can turn around in a couple of hours.

Predictably the authors do not take any responsibility for women's actions. Citing Depp's case and not fessing up that people are against false claims and vilifying men based on gender. They simply go on complaining that backlash is the cause of women gaining rights.
They say that most young men are not feminists or are against feminism. I also saw showing that most people are for gender equality, but many do not believe feminism represents their views. I wonder why.
When will they realize that only fools accept being vilified based on their gender alone? The problem with so much feminism stands for today is brazen false claims against men (like that women are being targets while 90% of victims are actually men), cherry picking (like rape statistics, where women cannot even be charged with rape in a large part of the world or male victims are simply dismissed) and dismissing that women, in reality, commit a large part of domestic violence (CDC statistics clearly show this).
Yes, people have a tendency to uncritically accept information and claims from some sources. But today, in the age of the internet, it has become much easier to get factual statistics and see the discrepancy.
It is no wonder number of young men who are against feminism is rising. I think this is a positive development.
I was surprised that only 8% of Germans are feminists. Probably the lowest proportion in the developed world. Kudos germans!
