Is it just me or are basically all catholic based possession movies coming out of hollywood (besides The Excorsist) are just terrible? I've just finished up a few, and good lord they're a hard watch. (The Rite, Pope's Excorsist, Prey for the Devil... etc) Of course there are exceptions to this but man most are bad.

I know it's been the better part of 2 years, but I think I’m finally in a place to be able to look at everything more objectively, and well I’ve been disingenuous at best, and neglectful at worst.
So here’s me apologizing: I’m sorry. Really, truly, and for everything. No ifs and buts. No cop-outs.
I took you for granted – that’s on me, and I’m sorry. I got scared – that’s on me, and I’m sorry. I told you that it was “not about you” and that I was stressed about school. In retrospect – that was just bullshit, and I’m sorry. I probably made you feel like your feelings were invalid a million – and I should have been better. I probably made you feel neglected, and I’m sorry for that. Towards the end, you were doing all the work in the relationship, and that was just monumentally unfair – and I’m really sorry that it came to that.
You deserved so much more, and I’m sorry I couldn’t be all that. I just hope that you know or understand that none of this ever came from a place of malice. I know now that I hurt you a lot, but I want you to know never wanted to. I should have listened better, understood better, tried better and been better.
Fuck – this is hard to say – but I stopped caring enough at some point to put in the effort, and I convinced myself that I just had too much going on. But you should have always been more important. Actions speak louder than words I guess.

Hey there! I'm a 25 year old who lives in Scotland, I'm not the best at advertising myself but here it goes. It'd be nice to find someone who I can finally connect with, I live pretty remotely so meeting people is always difficult. Whenever I'm not working, I'm usually painting or learning how to sculpt. I'm also a fan of technology such as 3D printing, tabletop games, and old British bands. I do play video games occasionally, but only with friends. If you also like playing with others, I'm always down for that!
On the topic of sculpting, my goal for 2023 is to learn how to sculpt miniatures. Over the Christmas break last year I spent two weeks writing up a draft of a tabletop game for fun and thought "Hey, why don't I finally start learning how to sculpt so I can actually bring this to life?". One day I'll truly bring it to life and be able to share it all with the world. It'd be nice to talk to someone while I'm sculpting too, Youtube videos and music are nice and all, but sometimes it's nice to have someone to talk to and share what I'm working on with to get some feedback.

Sister ghosted me for a year, now wants a relationship
My younger sister (31), ghosted me (35) in September 2021. She also ghosted my mom and other sister. She reached back out October 2022. We've been talking since here and there but I don't know what the hell to do. I find myself being wishy washy with the relationship. Husband thinks I should just say too bad, and move on without her.
Background info:
During the year she ghosted me, she had her first child (my first niece). She didn't tell us anything about it. We had to find out through other family members
I asked to come out and meet my niece, and she said no, because she wasn't ready.
I had a baby March 2021. And I have 2 older daughters (10,8) who also got ghosted and were very hurt.
When we started talking again she never really apologized for ghosting me, mostly justified it by saying she was angry and didn't know how to express it so she ghosted until she was ready.
The reasons she was angry were made up in her head. And assumptions. Not ever anything I actually did or didn't do. Example: I got pregnant in summer 2020. My husband and I decided to grow our family because we were getting older and knew we wanted one more. She was angry at me for this because she was getting married September 2020, and told everyone I only got pregnant to "steal her thunder". I did apologize though.
After talking to my mom, I found out she had been gossiping really bad about me behind my back. Including sitting at my moms table saying "fuck her". I had no idea this was going on. This was when she was basically my best friend. She was doing this behind my back.
She moved literally to the other side of the USA in July 2021. So the ghosting occurred after moving away.
I don't know what to do. I have a tendency to be too passive and keep unhealthy relationships. I don't want to do something I'll regret. I also don't know that it's healthy for me to keep the relationship going. I don't know if I should bow out or try to salvage whatever tiny bit of a relationship is there because she's my sister. (And for my niece)

Dragon Ball GT power scale (super 17 arc)

Hello everyone, this is an continuation of my previous scale on the Black Star and Baby Sagas of the infamous Dragon ball GT, I suggest you see my previous scale for the scaling chain in this one to make sense. Also I really tried to not wank anything and tried to keep the numbers low (that part failed).

Bsg stands for buu saga Goku, it's referring to his base form. He is basically the measuring stick in this scale, let's begin.
It's been an year since the events of the baby saga, Goku goes to a tournament, loses to a kid because of Vegeta or that kid was ridiculously strong, then after a bitter defeat Goku calls it a day and goes home. Then they have a party at Goku's house but suddenly trunks arrives heavily injured and tell the group that android 17 attacked him. Then rifts in space time appear thus opening gates of hell and the old villians invade. Then Goku thinks going to literal hell is a good idea and goes there for a "GoOD FiGhT", then gets stuck. Imao. Z fighters fend off the villans in the meantime.
Goku in hell does a very ridiculous feat, he shakes all of hell by powering up in base. This is atleast a uni+ feat due to hell being an space time continuum, this basically confirms that characters in GT are atleast uni+. Also I would like to point out one think, some people say GT scales to the movies, which is wrong. Toriyama has stated that the movies take place in an different dimension, if you don't believe that the writer of the original dbz movies says the same.
The movies have their own seperate continuity and feats, so cross scaling is nonsensical. If you are gonna use the cooler as an argument, you would first have to prove it's the same cooler as the movies. That's just how continuity works.
During this Android 17 becomes evil and kills krillin, also he was the one to beat up trunks, so he's atleast 20,000x bsg as trunks was atleast comparable to pre baby arc ssj Goku in his ssj form. Then hell fighter 17 arrives to fight the z fighters, but isn't much in comparison to them, specially Vegeta.
Then both hell fighter 17 and android 17 fuse into super 17, this character's gimmick is that he can absorb energy and add to his power. Super 17 wasn't even flinching from majuub's attacks so 2x majuub here, this should makes him 409,600,000x bsg. Ssj Vegeta is around the same level as majuub, so he's 204,800,00x bsg and 4,096,000x BSG in base. So he's 6.4 stronger then base baby Vegeta and 10,240x his original base (400x bsg).
As super 17 is destroying the z fighters, Goku arrives and goes SSJ, then punches 17 across the planet. Here they are almost equals but 17 is slightly stronger, so I put him at 1.25 SSJ Goku. This puts SSJ Goku at 327,680,000x bsg and base Goku at 6,553,600x BSG. Goku then decides to go SSJ4 and starts spamming ki blasts at someone, who absorbs them, they say this guy is the smartest Goku. Ssj4 Goku here is 5,905,580,032,000,000x BSG or 5.905 quadrillion x BSG. Also Goku's normal Ssj4 is now super full power saiyan 4, so it has the same multiplier as it.
Goku realising it's not enough, decides it's a good decision to hit someone who absorbs his attacks with his strongest attack, ofcourse this goes as you expect. Goku with kamehama 10x is 129,922,760,704,000,000x bsg or 129.9 quadrillion x BSG, trust me I am not inflating these numbers. Super 17 eats this attack and adds it to his own, making S17 on the same level as the attack and 22x SSJ4.
S17 obviously destroys Goku here and is toying with him, s17 is strong in fact he smacks Goku mid teleportation. That's possibly a inaccessible speed feat, Goku realising there is no way to beat him then grabs 17 and threatens to explode like he's a suicide bomber, 17 thinks it's a bluff but Goku actually fucking explodes. This isn't enough to kill Goku but it does severely weaken him, so much he states he can't even move finger. This explosion does nothing to 17 because he used his barrier at the last second.
Then 18 appears, enraged about her husband's death, she mocks 17 for being controlled by Dr miyu whatever his name was. 17 then realises this and kills the doctor, 18 in a Fury attacks 17 with a barrage of blasts which 17 absorbs. A thing about 17 I forgot mention, he is vulnerable to attacks stronger then him while in the absorbing pose.
During this time Goku tries to get but isn't able to, with his willpower Goku somehow gets up and says "it's fisting time" (joke), then fists 17 through the torso with a dragon fist 👊 while 17 is absorbing 18's attacks, then turns back and ends him with a kamehameha. The dragon fist is a strange move, it's either stronger than Ssj4 or Goku got millions of times stronger out of the blue, it's really up to interpretation.
Also one thing s17 being off guard doesn't mean he's weaker, majuub wasn't able to hurt s17 even when he was off guard and he's stronger than base Goku. So pthat argument doesn't work.
In this scale, I am assuming the dragon fist increases the users power rather than Goku getting stronger. So let's see, Goku was stated to be significantly weaker but we can't use it as it's unquantifiable. S17 is 22x stronger then Ssj4 and to one shot him we need 2x that power, so the dragon fist is atleast 44x Ssj4 Goku. Making it 259,845,521,408,000,000x bsg or 259.8 quadrillion x BSG, the dragon fist is a 792,985,600x boost.
After this fight, Goku and friends gather the dragon balls to repair the planet but somethings wrong but that's for part 3 of the dragon ball GT power scale.
In conclusion,

This just happened, and honestly I might be TA, but i need some perspective.
So, I (19f) moved out of my Mom's place a year ago before starting med school (not america our system is a bit different). It's exam season currently, and i have been studying 10-12 hours a day, with about one 1hour break for lunch.
Today, my mom came by to drop of some things, like food and some clothes i had left at her place (i am very grateful for this btw). She rung my doorbell and came into the hall. After seeing that my place is currently pretty messy, she hands me the bags and declares that she is going to clean up.
I try to tell her she doesn't need to, and that its fine, but she won't listen. She is going around my apartment picking up clothes and taking coffee mugs to the kitchen. When she started doing the dishes, i told her I really don't have much time to unwind, and even though I am gratefull she is trying to help, this really isn't what i need right now.
She told me i was being stupid, and to sit and talk to her while she does my dishes. I kept trying to tell her, to please stop and leave so I could either go back to studying or actually rest a bit, but to no avail.
She eventually cleaned enough to be satisfied, but then made herself a mug of coffee and still wouldn't let me leave to do anything. Eventually she did leave for another engagement, but by then my 1h break was over.
I feel bad for being frusterated, because what she did was very kind, and obviously i feel shitty for being mad someone came all the way to my house just to drop some things of and clean up a bit. Still, I can't help but feeling, that my bounderies were crossed, and that honestly, what I needed more at that moment than some clean coffee mugs was that 1hour break. So Am I The Asshole?

So I've done this before on a seperate character, with no issues, but this time it seems that the anomaly isn't where it is supposed to be.
The mission says the location is on the west-most building, on the north-west corner of the building. There is nothing there, not even the slightest click on the detector. I've wandered around the woodlands to the north and west, and headed a little farther east and still not a click.

I have, what I consider to be, a cool story in my mind that I'd like to flesh out a bit whilst keeping it as factually accurate as possible. Basically, all the water left on earth is deep within the crust so people have to use these massive wells to survive. The bucket is 5m tall, totalling to a volume of about 155980L. This means the bucket has a weight of, roughly, 1.5mil N. https://imgur.com/a/I8IdpjI This is basically how I envisioned it, it uses a simple cog system with a handle that "the strongest men of the village" or whatever push, but after calculating the numbers, there's no way this would actually work in reality. These wells are in densely populated towns, and their existence is mysterious, after all I don't think people in like medieval times or whatever had the means the dig as deep as this water is located (in the story it also has some supernatural qualities, so you could say to just lower its density, but I'd like to see if there's a proper method to this issue before resorting to magical bullshittery. Anyway, therefore I can't just have normal, extremely deep wells). Is there a way to make this work?

Hello, I don't know if this is where I should post this but I'm willing to try.
I'm 20F and obsessed with cuddling and touching my husband to an extreme point. And he is doing his best to accommodate me but nothing is ever enough for me. I am constantly thinking about cuddling and if my husband is too tired, I don't want to cuddle him because it can be tiring to him (he doesn't like being touched all the time). I know mentally that I don't want to cuddle with him because it wouldn't be fun for both of us but I can't let it go. It bothers me and keeps me awake and makes me feel very very sad and upset. I've tried plushes and lots of blankets and cuddling with my cat but I still feel so terrible.
I think it's important to mention I grew up physically and emotionally neglected by my parents and had no family and very little opportunity to make friends. I've always felt touch starved but I wasn't this obsessed with it until I started dating, it became all I would think about. I've hooked up with people so that I could cuddle with them. I've been broken up with because my need for physical affection stressed my partner out. I definitely have a strangely strong need for cuddling.
I don't want to be dependant on my husband to meet this need because not only is it not fair to him since its so extreme, I also want to be able to self sooth for the times we are not physically with eachother or when he just isnt in a place mentally to provide this to me.
TLDR: My need for cuddles is extreme due to my past, I need to figure out ways to comfort myself that don't involve cuddling.

The good news is that I started at 417 and now I'm down to 306 (so far). I adhere to a fairly healthy diet with plenty of protein and vegetables, and fiber, don't snack or eat fast food. I also don't feel the need to eat much else. No desire to snack and no temptation to emotionally eat or overeat. Now for the downside. I titrated over the course of several months from 2.5 to 7.5. The 7.5 caused massive stomach pain, gas, diarrhea, bloating, nausea and an inability to eat or drink much for several days without immediately having to go to the bathroom. This always started about 24 hours after my shot. After figuring out it wasn't something I ate, I reduced my dose back down to 5mg and have been there since February.
SIDE EFFECTS START AGAIN, BUT I'VE MADE NO CHANGES IN DOSAGE OR DIET IN MONTHS. Fast forward to the middle of May. All of a sudden all the side-effects have returned. Nothing has changed in my routine or my diet, the lower dosage just started killin me out of nowhere. Currently it's Tuesday, I took my shot on Friday and have been sick since Saturday. I have to take about 5 Gas-X gel caps a day just to stave off all the excess gas. Once I take the gas-x I can wait about 20 minutes and then all of a sudden I have to go to the bathroom. My BM's are total water. On top of that I'm taking Kaopectate or Pepto Bismol, and Tums. Any relief is temporary, long enough for me to be able to eat a little something to get some calories in me, but I know about 30 minutes after I eat ANYTHING (even just a banana or some toast) my stomach revolts again. Do I need to see about titrating back down to the minimum dose of 2.5? I understand side effects after one starts a certain dosage, but not when I've been taking it for months.

I played vermintide A LOT with my partner but never with randoms because anxiety.
Deep rock helped us get over our fear of meanies online and we thought itd be easier to play our old games online and by god it was awful.
I couldnt even blame the players cause after Deep Rock i just see how much other players are not well designed for co op.

1. Death Deep rock keeps you in action and the center of attention when you die. Other games just kill you off and spawn you tied up like 10 minutes further into the level. In vermentide people consistiently left the moment they died.
   
2. Random level generation Deep rock has everyone at the same level in understanding the cave system since its nee for everyone. Games eith consistient levels mean experienced players are on some superhuman ground hog day experience and theres no deliberation on where to go and when.
   
3. V drg has a built in button that says yeah!/thank you/no hard feelings/i love you guys. Other games dont really encourage saying nice things and the chats are usually purely about function. (Tbf i have seen "yes" kind of be an equivelent to rock and stone in vermentide)
   
4. Fantasy racism This is a wierd one that im not the biggest fan of but the hyperbolic and practically comical racism puts everyone in deep rock against elves that arent even in the game (us vs them). To single out vermentide again they make racism canon between the players which isnt the worst thing but can be really bad when playing with gamers that want an excuse to be mean (fake racial slur banter doesnt translate well over text)
   

I first met this guy back in November of last year at my new job. I followed him on Instagram before that, he had accepted, and then followed me back. On the very first day of training for the job— I kid you not, he coincidentally saw me walk by him like twice and texted me saying that he would come upstairs to see me after he viewed and replied to my story indicating that I was there. I had absolutely no idea that he was already working at the same place I had just signed up for. He eventually got upstairs to where I was, sat down across from me, and we talked for I believe a good 30 minutes.
At this point, we’ve only been familiar with each other for 7 months now. We’ve never had any other actual conversation aside from the one we had on that day. We only say hi whenever we see each other in the halls at school. Lately, not so much. This is where I’m curious. The last time we ever texted was when he replied to my last story where I indicated that I was in a certain restaurant of the community we work in, saying that I should wait until I see the one he’s at, in a humorous manner of course. I replied about 30 minutes later merely asking if they got outdoor dining. Ever since that text message, he’s been very distant by either turning away or immediately looking down at his phone whenever I see him or he sees me. Left me on delivered during the week until he eventually saw it over the weekend. I just don’t get it.

This chapter has a blended mix of heartache and comedic relief as I am starting to set something up for the conclusion of this epic story I had fun creating. I also love the closeness between Violet and Maya in this chapter and their wishing they could be together in the same group. I will eventually have it where Clem slowly drops her prejudice against Maya and starts to trust her in an upcoming chapter where she and Maya need to trust each other to help Louis. Yes, something will happen to our sweet boy Lou here soon, and Clem will have no other option but to rely on Maya for her help in healing her boyfriend.

Having played most of Supermassive’s games, I can’t help but notice strange moments in each of them. Such as characters acting weird or being left out after their potential death scenes.
There’s even egregious errors like Eric not believing the others about the vampires if he saves Nick and Salim from one when they meet, Mark asking where Kate is despite being told she’s dead, and Sam and Mike saying there’s “bodies” in the caves even if it’s just the Flamethrower Guy’s body.

This release brings a significant improvement in latency for our Gen6 APs, including U6-Pro, as well as further roaming improvements and wireless meshing improvements for all APs.

Improvements

• Improved wireless uplink stability when the downlink's ethernet port is being used.
• [Gen4/Gen5] Improve 2.4GHz latency.
• [Gen6] Set minimum firmware version to 6.2.49 to prevent unsupported downgrades.
• [Gen6] Improved latency at range.

Bugfixes

• Fixed guest portal redirection not working when APs get a new IP on the guest VLAN (usually after 24 hours).
• Fixed APs occasionally picking overlapping 2.4GHz and DFS channels after an RF Scan.
• Fixed APs occasionally appearing 'Offline' in the Network Application while still serving WiFi properly, needing a power cycle to fix.
• Fixed wirelessly meshed APs (downlinks) occasionally going offline while scanning for neighbors. This was introduced in 6.5.39.
• Fixed neighbor reports not being reported to clients after 3 hours of uptime when multiple ESSIDs are configured to broadcast on an AP.
• Fixed incorrect channel change notifications being sent.

Known issues

• Some Apple devices are not roaming properly with WPA3 Fast Transition/Roaming due to a bug in iOS. We are working closely with Apple to get this fixed.

• Update your devices by changing the Device Firmware Release Channel in the UniFi Network application to Release Candidate.
