My budget is somewhat flexible with the absolute maximum amount ill spend being £1500, what could i do to improve this build?

Hi All,
Since I build my new pc (1+ years ago), I have experienced random reboots (kernel power error 41) even while watching youtube videos or writing a Word document! I checked everything and, I have no clue what the issue might be. Can someone help me? At this time I'm hopeless and I seriously think the CPU was faulty by factory.
I replaced the mobo, the power supply, and the ram sticks. I don't have any external graphics card. In addition, I changed the power socket where the PC was connected. I installed win 11 but it gave the same issues. NO CPU AND RAM OVERCLOCK.
Specs:
CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K

Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 5200MT/s

NZXT C850 power supply (850 W)

2023.05.30 18:16 One_Relationship_427 Thinking about getting a new PC. Is this worth it, or can I get it cheaper? I wanna be able to run max settings on everything and not worry about lag or random shutoffs anymore. I could just get a 3090 and put it in my current PC, but it may not be able to handle it. Specs are in the comments.

2023.05.30 18:00 yewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Just got a new Asus Rog G15 Advantage Edition mfg 12/21 - should I return/exchange or just upgrade parts?
I just picked
one up from BestBuy for $1100. It's SN starts with MCNRKD, manufactured 12/21. I am concerned with the old manufacturing date because I read a lot of issues regarding older models. Should I return/exchange this laptop and hope for a new model next time? I specifically read a lot of people having issues with their ram/wifi card but its tough for me to tell if my laptop also has these issues.
Should I upgrade my ram to
G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB 2 x 16GB DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL-22? I currently have
2 x 8Gb Micron part number 4ATF1G64HZ-3G2E2 Should I upgrade my wifi card to
Intel WiFi 6 AX200 Gig M2.2230 Kit? I currently have the MediaTek Wifi 6 MT7921.
Is there anything else I should check before I am out of my return period?
This is my first gaming laptop so open to any other suggestions you may have - I am not sure of the right questions to ask.
Thanks in advance!

2023.05.30 17:58 One-Importance6762 A green screen issue and issue with dual monitors
My hackintosh starts only with HDMI port of second monotor. Primary monotor is connected via DP. When I’m starting it using both monitors at the same time or only via DP there’s only black screen after opencore boot. If I’m connecting the primary DP monitor on the password screen - i got green screen on the HDMI monitor and black screen on the DP monitor. I can do work both at the same time only when I’m on the desktop with the HDMI one, disconnecting it, connecting the DP (at this time DP’s works) and connecting the HDMI again.

2023.05.30 17:37 petedee Would a Shield TV (pro or otherwise) give me better streaming performance than a FireStick 4K?
Hi all,
I’m currently dipping my toes into the world of home streaming with moonlight and am looking to get a good experience streaming from my desktop windows PC in my office to my TV in the living room.
Both are going to be using Wifi (cables are out unfortunately) but there is a pretty decent Wifi 6e network connection between two Eero mesh access points. The PC has a WiFi 6 network card.
I have an old FireStick 4K (not sure how old it is, probably before 2015?) which has worked OK but isn’t ideal, I’ve also tried the moonlight app on the LG TV which worked about as well.
Would a Shield (Pro or otherwise) help with this? Does the upscaling tech help iron out some of the compression artifacts?
I ideally want something that can handle 1440p content, doesn’t stutter or drop frames and can handle input from a PS4 controller.
I’m not really too fussed about playing games or video content on it directly.

2023.05.30 17:15 IPreferPi314 RTX 3060 12GB or Arc A770 16GB for Editing/Creator Workstation
Planning to build my first PC in a while by the end of the year. Primary focus will be photo/video editing and content creation - gaming will be a tertiary concern (I'm more of a console gamer - the only PC gaming I see myself ever doing would be getting back into WoW). So although I'm intending to have this build center around a 13700K, I'm more interested in budget/midrange GPUs to pair that with, nothing over $500.
RTX 3060 12GB cards have seen some significant price drops over the past week to get them around $300 now. Are they now worth a buy for this type of build? Should I roll the dice with the Intel's A770 and hope it sees continual improvements from updated drivers? Or should I wait and see what Arc Battlemage offers next year. Thanks!

2023.05.30 17:11 No_1ne_Home Trying to sell my pre-built
I’m trying to sell my Cyberpower gaming pc and peripherals. Specs are as follows:
RTX 2060 6GB video card, Intel Core i5-11400F 2.6GHz processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 500GB PCI-E NVMe SSD.
Win 11 home is installed and I’m bundling a Cyberpower mouse, mousepad, and keyboard.
What would be a good price point for this? I’m currently trying to sell for around $600, but no one’s buying. (In the US btw)

2023.05.30 17:09 v_denis_v Help with building a new PC
2023.05.30 17:04 Venum66678 Which processor is better for newer games I7 2700K or I5 6402P
If we compare the old I7 with the "newer" 4-core I5, which one is better for gaming? The somewhat newer architecture is thus presumably higher performance for games that use 4 threads, if Intel even reached the 10% improvement between the two processors. Compared to Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge is also 5% faster, or not even that much, in this case the I7 3770K. Haswell showed a slightly bigger difference between skylake and haswell, that's about the difference, kaby lake is not better in any way, at most such I5 7400, 7500 makes sense, but it is also below 5%. The real generational change happened only at Coffee Lake. Because back then Intel hardly developed anything. For example, this is no longer true for the newer ones, in fact, 4 cores without Ht are not enough, but it is not a guarantee that most games will be unplayable, but among the games released so far this year, you can find some for which this is true. Or is the I7 2600K better? Which is older but also multi-threaded. And that makes the games more satisfying. I don't know how well a Skylake I5 can outperform in new games, especially. Due to weak IPC growth. In my opinion, the advantage of skylake compared to haswell was that there was already a ddr4 card and many people bought it because the price came down earlier than now for ddr5. But now it is more worthwhile to build on ddr5 in any case because it is already very close in price to ddr4. And a 4800-5200mhz ram can add up to 10% to performance compared to a 3600-4000mhz ddr4. Intel only supported rams up to 2666mhz. But he could provide this advantage here as well. If there was such a difference between ddr3 and d4.

Originally, I had 4 sticks of the Corsair Vengeance on with nothing OCed. Then I started having issues with games probably two months ago. Since then I have tried different settings, as well as lowering the RAM settings by about half of their listed speeds. Finally, I have taken two sticks of RAM out and left them in A2 and B2 slots, I believe, but there are no markings to indicate whether I am in the correct slots for them. I'm still having issues with programs crashing, but the computer is on and working as it was before. Am I just always going to have unstable RAM?

2023.05.30 16:48 musiemonie ASUS B650-Plus WIFI network issues
I helped my friend build a PC yesterday and we came across some issues. 1) the system was having a hard time recognizing the GPU (which was seated properly and works) and we assessed that the gskill ram that came bundled with the mobo and CPU was a partial culprit. (We switched the two sticks between A2 and B2). Once that happened, the PC started working somewhat. (Needed to have the reset button pressed nearly immediately on some start ups to get it to boot properly). One of my friends advised updating the BIOS to fix the issue & random crashes after 5 minutes. Once that was completed, that's where the real issue started. The Mediatek wifi 6 mt2971 card stopped working. We uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, reset the bios to defaults and reset it several times to no avail. What can I do to get it to function properly?
TL;DR- MediaTek wifi 6 mt7921 is not functioning after BIOS update and I am searching for a fix.
